I think it's time for the Six Degrees game to make its reappearance at LICD. For those who don't know how it works, the rules are simple:

1. Pick any two movie actors.
2. Using movies that they've been in and costars they've had, connect the two in six movies or less. (It wasn't very clear last time, but my family always played it that you couldn't use TV shows, made-for-TV movies, or straight-to-video flicks. And since it's my thread, I'm setting that rule.) :P

Example: Ashton Kutcher to Bill Murray.

Ashton Kutcher was in Butterfly Effect with Amy Smart.
Amy Smart was in Road Trip with Tom Green.
Tom Green was in Charlie's Angels with Bill Murray.

That one only took three connections, but you can use up to six if you need 'em.

Also, I know there are a couple of search engines out there online that'll actually make the connections for you. Aside from the fact that they usually include TV shows, they're not in the spirit of the game. If you have to use one of them to come up with the answer, you probably shouldn't even try to play.

All that said, I'll throw out the first pitch. I'll even lob an easy one out there for you. ;)

Connect Dan Ackroyd to Nicole Kidman.

I want to say yes. It is an acting role. But if the others have a problem with it, address it to me in a PM and I'll rectify that.

I'd say yes to that one too, so long as it was a movie released on the big screen.

Morgan Freeman was in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves with Christian Slater
Slater was in Broken Arrow with John Travolta
Travolta was in Pulp Fiction with Bruce Willis
and Bruce was in The Jackal with Jack Black

Go with Christopher Walken to Christopher Lambert :P

Tom Hanks was in Terminal with Catherine Zeta-Jones

Sean Connery was in Highlander with Christopher Lambert

How about Burt Reynolds to Matt Damon?

Burt Reynolds was in Boogie Nights with William Macy.
William Macy is going to be in Edmond with Julia Stiles
Julia Stiles was in The Bourne Surpremacy with Matt Damon.

I'm not sure if what I did is a violation, since Edmond is still in production. If so, let me know.

If not. Edward Norton and John Cusak.

Quite easy, actually.

Oldman played the title role in Dracula with Anthony Hopkins.
And of course, Hopkins introduced everyone to fahhver beans (*fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh-fuh*) in Silence of the Lambs with Jodie Foster.

Try Anthony Daniels to Anthony Edwards.

Got this one covered:

Anthony Edwards played Brains in Thunderbirds alongside Bill Paxton
Bill Paxton played Dinky Winks in Spy Kids 2 alongside Antonio Banderas
Antonio Banderas played Luis in Original Sin alongside Thomas Jane
Thomas Jane played Frank Castle in The Punisher alongside John Travolta
John Travolta played Vincent in Pulp Fiction alongside Samuel L Jackson
Samuel L Jackson played Mace Windu in Star Wars Episode 2/3 alongside Anthony Daniels

My turn!

Connect James Dean with Kiefer Sutherland

(I assume the difference in years wont be too great a challenge to overcome)

Hopper was in True Romance with Christian Slater
and Slater did Young Guns 2 with Keifer Sutherland!

Alice Cooper to David Bowie... :D

Pfft. Ain't no such thing, Puncture.

Jeff Cohen was in The Goonies with Corey Feldman
Feldman was in National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon I with Samuel L. Jackson
Jackson was in Pulp Fiction with John Travolta
Travolta was in Grease with Olivia Newton-John
And she was in Xanadu with Gene Kelly.

I admit that I did have to look up Chunk (I'd forgotten the actor's name) and I had to find a useable connection for Gene Kelly, but the rest was off the cuff.

Now then: Connect Alice Cooper to David Bowie :)
