So, here's the riddles thread yet again. Read a riddle, solve a riddle, post a riddle. That's how it works.

This first riddle is courtesy of draegerMKV.

A man goes to the doctor and finds out he has a very uncommon disease. The doctor tells him the only way to survive is to take two different pills each night for ten days. If he only takes one or none of the pills, he'll die, and if he takes more than one of each in a night, he'll also die. So the doctor gives him two jars of ten pills each and sends him on his way.

The man decides to go to his log cabin in the woods to be able to relax during his recovery. On the hike up there, though, he slips walking into his cabin and spills the pills on the floor; only two pills stay in one bottle. quickly scooping the pills up, he discovers that each type of pill look exactly a like; whats worse is that when he measures the pills on a kitchen scale, he finds that they all have the same weight. With the sun falling fast, what's the best chance he can have of surviving through the night until tomorrow, when he can hike back to his car and drive to the doctors?

Note: the answer is a little odd- It's a risky option, but it's probably the only one he has.

I'd say that he just guessed which one is which, at random.

He's kinda screwed. Since two pills stayed in one bottle, then he's got a 10 in 18 chance of randomly picking the other type of pill from the common pile. (That is assuming that each container conained 10 pills) Those aren't good odds, but the odds are best if he chooses one of those common pile pills, and one of the two pills left in the bottle.

and do they taste the same when he licks them?

Ok, how about this, what if he gets all the pills, grinds them all up, then weighs out the weight of two pills.

It's less likely, but you could still end up getting 100% of one pill.

Linux has the answer with the grinding idea, its the best (but I agree not perfect) chance he has of survival.

thats what I was going to say, but I wasn't sure if they were compressed powder pills or liquid capsules so I asked that first. you bastard.

If you're inquiring as to why, I'd go with either A) Allergic reaction, Bartender poisoned one drink, or C) They walk outta the bar and one gets hit by a car.

Like I said, two people who are exactly the same go into a bar. They order the exact same drink and get the exact same drink. One dies and ones does not(nobody gets hit by anything). So what happends?

They go up to the bartender, and order the same cold drinks, and get the same drinks.

Ones dies, and the other does not.

The Ice Cubes contained posion in them? One guy drank his drink quickly, the other slowly. If this is the case then you should hint at that in the riddle.

New riddle folks.

A girl was playing up in her room, having a tea party with her dolls and stuffed animals. She decided to go outside, however she exited true two front doors. One was the front door of the house. What was the other one? (it is not the screen door)
