The year, like age, is only a number. A number that possesses a certain amount of power, granted, but said power can be completely defined by the individual who wields it. Still, it’s hard not to look backwards and forwards with the end of one year, and the beginning of the next.
When all is said and done, though, I think I’ll keep it simple.
Love and laughter, folks, that’s what I wish for you in 2012.
Love and laughter.
Happy New Year.

When reading LICD, both are guaranteed.
Merry 2012, Sohmer. Thanks for another year of awesomeness!

I, myself, set myself "resolutions" whenever it strikes me. Made one with a friend just a month ago.
But for newyear's, though I may just have returned from my best friend's crush's party, I do agree with the original statement. Keep it simple, and if I may be so humble, when you encounter a new perception of error in your life, confront it momentarily, the pledge on the "new year" does not matter. Every day is as simple as the new year except for tradition.

It's been a lousy evening, but it feels good to see the comic is up and running, as always.
Happy new year and all the best to you, Lar and the people at Blind Ferret.
