The only way this would have been better is if Rayne was going, "woop woop woop woop" as he ran off.

Rayne does know that Morimoto could julienne him head to toe, right? And then pull a Sakai and make chocolate-Rayne ice-cream.
And Batali is hilarious in the final panel, lets just hope no-one tells him that his challenge is in another castle.
Is it a crime, to wander time, not knowing where to go? To raise your mast, let out your sail, and let the wind take you where it blow? Must I walk this narrow line, this etching of reality? Or may choose to seek a path more closely defined by me?

eph Batali! I think Rayne should have inked him instead. The woop woop woop thing is a good idea as well.

I liked the gag, but the head of the chef in the last two panels is way too small compared to the first two.

I would probably find this much funnier if I'd ever seen the show in question. Stupid British TV *hurumph* not having food network *grumble*

Having said that, it is pretty funny in its own right, even with no frame of reference.

Love the whole Iron Chef theme.
Hey, are there any comics where Rayne opens his own restaurant or bar?
Twood be funny to see Rayne serving drinks to customers.

I added the "woop woop woop woop" effect myself out loud. People are staring at me now, but it was funny enough to be worth it.

At least you can't see Batali's horrendous Yellow Crocs. Where's Flay or Symon? They are my favs.
