Hello Kitty would make an awesome judge. And why is Rayne being disruptive? The more time he wastes, the more time he has to wait for the food to be cooked.
Living With Insanity - You like naked chicks, right?.
Gemini Storm - My first published comic.

Is Hello Kitty giving us the finger? Or is it a stick of chalk?

It's what he does.

He probably ate before the show anyway.

I think she is giving the host the finger because of his comment on her not having a mouth.

And people complain about the "Adult Content" in the webcomic.

Congrats pal, you just made me very, very uncomfortable.

Hello Kitty > Rayne on a Iron Chef....of all the things I thought I would ever say, THAT would have never crossed my mind....

H.K isn't to be f'd with either. You see what she did to Joey Fatone on Robot Chicken? Watch out Rayne!!!

I'm quite disappointed that I actually have no idea what this Iron Chef stuff is about since I've never actually seen it, being a Brit - specifically, a Brit that doesn't watch much TV... <_<

And yeah, I'm pretty sure Allez Cuisine doesn't work, because isn't Allez "to go" in the 'you' form, as in "you go"?
That would be... "You go cook" or alternatively "You go kitchen"...?

Technically it could work. "Allez" is actually "go" without the "you" or "they", known as the "imperative verb tense". So it's a command, much like when we say "Eat this!" rather than "you eat this!". I believe there is also verb with "cuisine" in it. Regardless, "A la cuisine" does make the most sense because translated it's the equivalent of "To the Kitchen!".

I've been watching Iron Chef, whether America or original, for probably going on 10 years now ... I'm 99.9999999999999% sure it's 'Allez'. The pronunciation difference between Allez and 'A la' would be very easy to notice. Plus I'm sure at some point I've had closed captioning on during the show and seen "Allez".

Also, the translation would most accurately, given the context, be "Go cook!" or "Start cooking!" The formal "you" (vous) is implied when not used, so "vous allez" is "you go", while "Allez!" is just "Go!"

Via Wikipedia: There's a Iron Chef: The Official Book which has "Allez Cuisine!" mentioned.

It's been quite a while since I had French at school, but I thought Cuisine meant kitchen, not cooking. So Allez cuisine would tell people to go kitchen, which as far as I know it's a verb... Shouldn't it be something like "allez cuisiner" instead?

(Do note that even when I was actually getting my French lessons I wasn't that good at them, so I may be totally wrong here.)

Being someone who hardly knows any French AND has never seen Iron Chef, I believe I stand corrected.
