Is that a parole bracelet I see on her arm?

I thought so too when I first looked. However, I think it's just one of those gigantic bracelets that women seem to think look 'cute' at the moment.

Ooh, so close. The Duke (not "Lord") of York actually is 4th in line to the throne of the United Kingdom.

I've briefly met Prince Andrew, the Duke of York. Seems like a pretty decent bloke. He gets props for doing proper military service, flying helicopters in the Falklands War. Can't say I think much of his taste in women though - Rayne has him beat there.

Is it just me, or is Rayne is missing the lower half of his left arm in the third panel?

Lord, Duke, Esquire, Baron...who cares- she an older woman, the Charm is not what he is saying to her. The Charm is how he is saying it to her and the fact that he is directing it to her and that is with respect and very charismatic. I remember those days, going after older women, those were also the very best. Me versing small quotes from my poetry that I write was my style.

Awesome Rayne, when one has the right words to say and how you present it, no matter the error- some don't care and let it slip.

Also, on third panel, his left arm is posed behind his back.

Rayne exhibits a typical American's firm grasp of British nobility - anyone in single-figure succession for the throne would be a Duke, not a mere Lord. (The present Duke of York is indeed fourth in line: being the next-younger brother of Charles, who is first, he slots in behind Charles and Charles's two sons. But this doesn't tie in with being DoY.)

As usual, even the cougars in LICD are way hotter than anyone who ever gave me the time of day. wallbash.gif

Ryan (where Rayne would ge his info) is Canadian.

The king of what?

How easy do you forget. Rayne's already been crowned.

I wonder if he'll have the chance to show this gorgeous woman his Andúril and his title of the Land of Gondor.

Does Rayne's wit ever end?

Rhetorical as it was I will justify that with an answer.

...No.

Rayne said so himself during his redbull induced Christmas Carol rip-off. "My wit is eternal."

Where were you planning on shooting him from, the fucking moon? If you had backed up any further you'd have had to mail him the bullets.

To be fair, the look of the woman one marries doesn't necessarily reflect his taste in looks. Sure, physical appearance is the primary attractor, that's just coded in our genes. All animals, especially the human animal, instinctually look for the prime physical specimen to mate with for propagation of the species. But humans can go beyond instinct and, over time, get to know and eventually fall in love with someone who doesn't match their physical ideal. That's not (or not always) settling, that's falling in love with the person instead of the package.
If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
