I just went for the slowest shipping option. I can wait a few more weeks for the book. It's still $20, but at least not $50.

Love the incentive. any kind of countdown on which ones are signed? I ordered two, best christmas gift i could find for my younger bro, it'd be a kicker if only one of the two was signed.... then what would i do???
and the shipping really isn't so bad.... I suggest others look at international shipping all around if you're willing to wait (which you may as well) the rates really aren't bad.... (friends overseas have ordered as well)

Expecting the unexpected just makes the unexpected the expected. That said, no one ever sees me coming.

Shai Gar,
Admit it.
Part of you, perhaps a really tiny part, but a part of you nonetheless, actually looks forward to getting these yearly e-mails from me. I assume it must be true, you see, because part of me actually enjoys writing them, despite the fact that I’m forced to play corporate shill.
And like clockwork, here I am. I am writing to you, as I have every year since 2003, to ask for your support.
As it’s quite the tricky proposition, sending out an e-mail to 57,000 people, without pissing them off, but I do believe I have a method to lessen the blow.
Here it is:
I am currently not wearing pants.
…
I just made us both a little uncomfortable there, didn’t I?
Admit it.

To be honest, no.
I had just woken up, so I was naked as well and with my hand on my morning glory when I read that.
I don't tend to get embarrassed until at least noon.

I love the little picture of Sohmer on the main page that goes with this post, it's like he's saying "Thus commandeth Sohmer!!!!!"
and booyah for the Future Soon!
I won't always be this way, when the things that make me sad and weak get engineered away

I hope the books will still be up for sale at the end of November. Until then I can't.
