Lar, I use software from this guy in Germany for my dual monitors. Have been using it for years, Great stuff !!

mm i use display fusion, simply becuase if you have choosen y'r background, You don't have to run it to stay visible. Or even load it on y'r next boot. You only have to run it if you want to change y'r wallpaper

2nd vote for DisplayFusion. I have it on my computer at work, it's great. I even bought the full version so I can have it automatically cycle through my wallpapers.
