So that's what happened. I kinda feel bad for the crack I made a topic or two ago. Here's hoping little Mick didn't see it happen.

Also, that was a bit of a douchey thing for Rayne to say at the end.

So this means that Mick's father loved him very much?

Why? Did you forgot that he's been trying to get his parents killed in order to become the Dark Knight?

He must think that Mick's a lucky guy for accomplishing that.

Wow. Definitely did not see that one. Guess I should have taken Sohmer's tweet seriously.

Methinks Rayne is trying to deflect the whole 'horrific confession' vibe by making himself look like a complete ass to distract her. No loss to him... he's not trying to sleep with his friend's girl, anyway!

Because we all know what a hoot it is to go around claiming your father is dead...

Yeesh, jerk, it's only funny if he claims his father is dead because he (person claiming) committed patricide...

But seriously, I have to admit, while I figured on Mick's dad being gone somehow, I did not see murder, unless his mother murdered his father, not sure why but that just seems likely... come to think of it habve we ever seen any of the main characters parents other then Rayne's ?

Well lets see
Faye vs. Mick
Fat: Check
Horrible death of father: Check
Socially awkward due to previously mentioned issue: Check

Well 3 for 3.

Hrm, that was the last option on my list. Now was he murdered, ran over, or assassinated for being a member of the Illuminati? I guess we will discover these answers and more tomorrow.

Actually I'm disappointed of how quickly they came to it... I was actually getting use to the whole beating around the bush thing that they had going on for awhile.

"There is no easy way to say it, so I just blurt it out."

I wonder why it never came up before between them. Didn't they at least visit eachother's parents? It also explains much about Mick's character. Also: I think this is the first MKD arc? (MurderKillDeath, a Demolition Man reference)

I think we'll find the biggest difference (apart from the penis (unless Jeph is going a whole new direction)) is that Mick is pretty well adjusted all things considered.
He's cheery, fun to be around and a solid wingman. If anything Mick and Faye occupy different ends of the 'Coping with Grief' spectrum.

I'm suprised other people also noticed the link with Faye from Questional Content. It was the first thing that came to mind when I read today's comic, lol. Although her dad killed himself, Micks was killed by someone else.

But then again,
Faye doesn't have a monopoly on death dads, so right on brothers, right on. tongue.gif

Where is it from?
