Disney writer Matthew Lopez is writing the script, while Lorenzo di Bonaventura - who has been credited on movies like Transformers, GI Joe and Doom - is producing.
On the bright side, at least there's no plot for them to screw up! Unless, you know. The movie somehow doesn't involve a spaceship and at least one asteroid.
I disagree with that last sentence - the game is called Asteroids (plural). If there's only one... man, am I gonna be pissed!

I'll be damned if I'm taking the stairs--the elevator was out of service once, I called in sick - someone with great wisdom.
Clearly you are wrong, proof of this is that you disagree with me.
I'm not crazy, I'm just very creative with my sanity.

Candy Land might make it if it's by Tim Burton.
'No!' says the man in Washington, 'It belongs to the poor.'
'No!' says the man in the Vatican, 'It belongs to God.'
'No!' says the man in Moscow, 'It belongs to everyone.'
I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different.
I chose the impossible.
I chose...
Rapture
