So! Despite absolutely no chance of any kind of revival (probably) is there any more use to today's fan-created fake holiday? Is anybody else planning on continuing the event started in 2006? (That is, buying a DVD of the movie)

I realize there is no point in bemoaning the loss of a series, but I'm curious...how many people want more?

We bought the DVD years ago, so no, we won't be buying a DVD. However, we will be going to the theater and seeing the movie this weekend, and my wife is donating 5 of her famous Jayne Hats to a large Serenity screening somewhere in Texas. Every year CantStopTheSerenity collects quite a bit of money for Equality Now (Joss Whedon's personal favorite charity)

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

It would be nice to see more Firefly/Serenity but I don't want to see it turn into something akin to The Matrix series...

So.. MORE DOLLHOUSE & Dr Horrible!

Edit: Damn I need to buy one of those Jayne Hats >.<

I've been really disappointed in Doll House. Dr. Horrible I think had it's run. It seems more of a one shot than a long running series. Or for that type of humor there is always the Venture Brothers. Serenity was really enjoyable but I think it's been to long. Luckily there's Outlaw Star that's really really similar and had a full run and story so I guess I've gotten my sense of completion from that.
