What are your thoughts on A Memory of Light being split up into three seperate books? I am actually somewhat pleased, when the others were released I was up all night reading them and with a word count predicted to be around 800k it would be unthinkable to attempt reading the entire book in one sitting. The link above also provides links to an interview with Harriet and a seperate link to Brandon Sanderson's blog.

I was very sad, at first I had wanted the book quickly, all at once.

But, having read the announcement, in addition to Harriett's Q&A and Brandons blog, I know that this is for the best. Plus, 3 books in 2.5 years (If it stays on that schedule) is really awesome. Compared to 12 books in 20 years.

I never thought anyone would be able to tie up all the loose ends in this series in a single book. 3 books is more like it. Any complainers should definitely read Sanderson's blog on the subject.

We're getting a book this year, people! We should be elated! We've been waiting over 4 years for both WoT and SoI&F - and it doesn't look like GRRM is coming through for us this year. sad.gif

I was initially disappointed, I must admit, but when I went and read Brandon's explanation, I quickly cheered up. We're getting ~800,000 words, instead of Brandon's initial hope of 250,000. Eight hundred thousand words... this is going to be quite the story.

Brandon, we're counting on you.

OK, still having the same problem with devkitppc r16.

About aboves post: thats for mounting the front SD card, we are talking about mounting the memory card inserted at a memory card Slot.

Please, some light on the topic Theres NuGaSa and the app Dasda made, so its not impossible to read/write to the memory card. Are they accessing it with low level routines or what?

I don't know if this is the right thread in which to mention this, but there is a review up of The Gathering Storm written by Jason Denzel, owner of Dragonmount.com. http://www.dragonmount.com/News/?p=585
