I like all kinds of music and mostly I don't listen to the radio, I like to look for bands that are more underground *sorry if that sounds cliche*. That's not to say there isn't some good entertainment out there, just... well this is what I'm listening to lately:

City & Colour
Coheed and Cambria
Dustin Kensrue
Emarosa
Flight of the Conchords
Fleet Foxes
Imogen Heap
Isles and Glaciers
Lights
Missy Higgins
Owl City
Paramore
Say Anything
Sufjan Stevens
The Reason
Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker
You, Me, and Everyone We Know

There are a lot more, but not enough room so I'll stick with those for now. I'm pretty sure they all have myspace accounts if you want to take a look.

As good as it looks... it's just another Nazi movie. Haven't we killed them enough yet?

What the hell? With Clorus Leachman, Julie Dryfus, Mike Meyers and Eli Roth (The director). Is this a comedy? The trailer looks like it's trying to be serious wiht a bunch of stupid jokes thrown in.

No.

Directed by Quentin Tarrantino, and starring Brad Pitt who has adopted a Texan-Accent that would be worthy of Blazing Saddles. I am having a hard time imagining this to be a perfectly straight-laced movie - probably just more of Tarrantino's Pornographic, over-the-top violence just for the sake of having it.

Having said that, I can't help but I wonder what the significance is of them spelling 'Bastard' incorrectly. tongue.gif

I was just reading up on this, apparently Brad Pitt is only in the movie as more of a cameo and Eli Roth is more of the lead actor.

The title and part of the story are actually inspired by an old Italian movie. It's not supposed to be serious. It's supposed to be like an old spaghetti western only set in WWII times.

I, for one, am actually looking forward to seeing this at some point. I'm not really expecting a lot out of it but it I think it has potential to be kind of entertaining in a way.

So it's a spaghetti western/comedy set in WWII, with a cheap "Dirty Dozen" plot line, and starting Eli Roth... what about that sounds good?

Like I said, I'm not expecting amazing things. Might be worth a rental some lazy night or a download or something. I'm not terribly adverse to mindless action movies. They can be decent from time to time. I'll give it a shot at least.

Brad pitts accent is terrible. I was able to take the movie seriously though until that spot with Hitler at the end. Also it looks like a movie that glorifies war crimes. I feel like a joss whedon fan after watchng dollhouse.

True, he started with Nazis, and then moved to aliens. Now there is obviously only one possible avenue left; Nazi aliens.

And that's where I'll quote the Simpsons.. "Quentin Tarrantino has ruined an entire generation of movie goers."

btw.. Tarrantino's more recent movies have completely blown chunks.
