I don't know her, but if she is hot what's the problem? It doesn't say in the bible how good looking Mary was, so she may have been hot. Who knows what criteria were used to pick her.

I'm not going to watch the movie in the cinema, though I might give it a chance when it's on tv and there's nothing more interesting on. Never watched the passion because I'm not into torture. I don't watch the Saw movies either.

I don't think her age is mentioned in the bible (though i could be wrong) but back in those days people did get married at a younger age than now. Also, she's described as a young woman (often mistranslated as virgin) so she was most likely not 18 yet.

Of course they would never make a movie with a 13 year old Mary (or even 15 or 16) because people don't want to be reminded about those little details. Just like people probably don't wonder why the bible lists the male ancestors of Josef, even though he isn't actually Jesus' natural father, so his pedegree doesn't actually have much meaning in this. They should've listed *Maria*s ancestors instead.

Those details has a kind of negative connotation to it which is silly. People think in todays morals, so they create an image in that ideal. But our current ideals are in no way relevant to the new testament.
As far as Joseph goes. So if you are addopted and your addopted father loves you and teaches you to be a great kind and forgiving man, he should not be important or the people who in turn fathered him?
