Screenwriting Little help?

Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but basically I'm needing a little push in the right direction. I have a plot outline, I've started my script, the only problem is, where do I take it after I've finished the whole thing. I'm a little far off right now since I'm only 12 pages in, and it's really coming together, but what do I do with it once its done? Anyone able to kick me up the ass n lend a hand? Advice would do nicely too actually. Less kicking biggrin.gif

You might head over to the creative literature forum under Books & Other Intellectual Stoof.

While you are writing a movie script, they probably know more about the actual *writing* bit over there and be able to give you better tips. We over here just *watch* the stuff. smile.gif

If all goes well in the next month...I will be able to point you in the right direction. I'm hooked up in Indie film and have quite possibly sold one/two scripts. I'm going to be doing production soon, as well. Of course, this is all hinging on some funding we're waiting to be released. Cross your fingers and toes for me guys!

Just write your script and then let me know when you finish it.

I strongly recommend checking out the Writer's Guild of Great Britain, PmP. No doubt they will give you an endless supply of advice for how to write and what to do with it once you're done, but joining up will also give you the protection (legal, rather than Mafia Enforced) needed to set out into the big scary world of media biggrin.gif

Thank ye kindly folks. Ive done around 20 pages in the last 3 days, I'm so LOVING this pace. Guess it pays to write about what you know. My "war movie" script is still 10 pages long n it took me 3 weeks to write that!
