Opinion only:

First, Hollywood fucked up Godzilla. Lord knows it's a pretty simple concept, how Hollywood managed that is a feat onto itself. But now the power's that be, have decided that Keanu "I can be replaced by a plank of wood" Reeve has been confirmed as the Captain for the American remake of Cowboy BeeBop.

I saw a couple pics and thought, if it's geared towards kids, it's perfect. As for the hair.. I don't know how they could possibly get that "right"?

OH sure.. We brown haired people wouldn't want to imagine OURsleves as Goku huh. j/k

I assumed that was when he was powered up.. at least in the pic I'm thinking of.

This looks black considering the glow of the dragon ball.

The least they could do is make his hair look reasonably normal. Yes, spike it up in a unique way, especially if he goes Super, but not like Rufio.

Still, if you don't remember too closely the storyline, it looks like it could be okay.

Keanu as Spike makes me want to cry.

Funny correlation: James Marsters is playing Piccolo.

Indeed, how could they get a board of wood to play an awesome character with depth

I didn't know they're doing a live action DBZ. Thanks for the heads up.

It's Bebop, named for the musical genre of jazz with a very unrooted melody.
Actually I think Keanu has had roles that resemble Spike before, a loose goof who can kick serious ass and has a serious background. I think Keanu could pull that off pretty well... perhaps one of the only things.
Won't you have some fun with me?

I'll be damned if I'm taking the stairs--the elevator was out of service once, I called in sick - someone with great wisdom.

Clearly you are wrong, proof of this is that you disagree with me.

I'm not crazy, I'm just very creative with my sanity.
