I was just wondering ,because it's the season and all, what movies get you in the holiday spirit.
I have a few must see to get me in the mood such as:

Muppets Christmas carol
Nightmare before Christmas
Polar express

What movies get you in the spirit? smile.gif

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I used to watch it with my mom every Xmas. But this year I'll be watching it without her. Just won't be the same sad.gif

I find it kind of sad

I am particularly fond of Bad Santa.
I am not really much of a Christmas person though.

Christmas Story is by far the best of the bunch, and we have a tradition of watching It's a Wonderful Life while we put up our decorations. Gotta love the classics.

Aside from those, the only other Christmas stuff I'll go out of my way to watch is some of the classic TV specials - The Grinch, The Year Without a Santa Claus, and Charlie Brown's Christmas.

Classic Snow Miser and Heat Miser FTW.
Players may blunder through dialog with shocking ineptitude, forget the name of the country they are in, or get confused about which side they are on, but once it comes time to roll for initiative they all turn into Sun Tzu. - Shamus

"Christmas" movies that we watch are just the ones that come on abc. Charlie Brown's Christmas is the usual one. Other than that, *I* watch the Star Wars trilogy... then again I do that without a need for a holiday... But in the span of 36 hours, all 3 are watched at least once.

I'd have to agree with you here. Especially because that movie was made before she turned into the latest incarnation of Twiggy.

This year past I didn't watch much along the lines of Holiday stuff. Excepting only Fred Claus, and that only because Joe from "Joe Loves Crappy Movies" indicated it wasn't that crappy. And it wasn't. It wasn't that great either, but it definitely had its moments. Kevin Spacey wanting a Superman cape? How can you not at least snicker knowingly, hm?
Not very politically correct... but I'll never be a politician, so fuck it.
