Arrr, it do be talk like a pirate day! So today's book is Treasure Island, by Robert Louis Stevenson.

I don't have a picture of the book, but I have a link to the free copy on Project Gutenberg.

Many of you have probably read Treasure Island, but for those who haven't the story is about a boy who gains a treasure map and sets out to find it. An expedition is put together and the crew, some of whom are rather suspicious looking, have some adventures on the way to the island. On the island itself... well, I'm sure you can guess what happens! wink.gif

I don't remember the first time I read the book, but it's a story I've always enjoyed. I hope that you do as well!

Drink up me hearties!
C'mon in. Sit down. Read a little.

Kidnapped, also by Robert Louis Stevenson, is another excellent read
