Wondering what you guys think I might be able to get for the PC I bought last year. Thinking of possible getting rid of it depending on what it might be worth;
3.0GHZ Dual Core Proccessor
Intel® Motherboard,
2 DDR2 SDRAM DIMM sockets,
DR2 667MHz and DDR2 533MHz DIMMs, up to 4GB of system memory,
2GB Kingston® High Performance Memory
1000GB (1 Terabyte) Western Digital® 7200 RPM Hard Drive
Radeon® X1950 PRO
22" Widescreen LCD FLAT PANEL MONITOR, 1680x1050 WSXGA
Wireless KB + M
DVD Burner
Any ideas?

With that, Yeah what Solar said....
(I see used computers sell for hundreds of dollars at auction, Without any license or CD's, And just shake my head, The software can be the most important component, And I am talking about MUCH older models, P3, Windows 2000, 20g hard drive old .... Foolish)

I think your doing quite well if you sell it for $1200, but please don't discount what BB & I said. If you scour the net enough you know the hardware "used" even in warranty goes for about what we stated, with the big thing the windows software. I know you spent a ton of money on it but PC are as bad as cars, you roll off the lot and its immediately worth 60% of what you just spent and it goes down from there.

The software does come with a license and the proper keys, as does the Corel software. I know how value does go down, but I paid 2200 for it last year, and I don't think that 600$ would of made much sense finacially to sell it for. Im just glad its being sold and I got a decent price.

If you wern't selling to a friend I doubt you could get more than that.
If you check out anyplace selling used computers I don't think you would be able to find any place that would sell that old of system for $1200.
When I bought my first one I paid $1400 for it, a year later I would have been able to get $300 for it. If I was lucky.
Now I only buy older systems since I get much better prices on it. I bought a Core 2 Quad, 4 GB Ram, 750 GB HD, 8800 video card that was only 4 months old, if that, for $500.

We pay 30% to 50% more for stuff here than you Americans, even with the recent parity of our currencies.
Comparing the components he listed to a local wholesaler, not retailer comes out to just over $1500 for the raw parts, unassembled.
I could sell you one with a Core2 Quad, 4gigs ddr2 800, ASUS MB, Samsung 22" and same rough spec as yours for approx €800 , NEW with 2 years guarantee.
That's like $1800 here.
