I remember checking out Beta 3, but it was still buggy enough I couldn't use it full time -- crashed every time it loaded a site I needed for school. Really, though, from all the stuff I've been reading about it....really want the full release.

Oh, and contributing two downloads for the world record wink.gif

yeah, I like the new features, but I'll wait until it can handle my plug-ins. Specifically FireBug and WebDeveloper.

+1. I downloaded it on my gaming PC but I'm leaving anything I do work on until all the plugins are working (especially those 2).

I've been using FF3 beta since beta 2. very stable, love the new features and adblocker plus works, along with most of my plugins. I'll have it auto-updated when they release anyhew, but I'll help the download attempt anyway.

If three can down on the random crashes that plague two on my system, I'll download it a hundred times.

From one day's use, it hasnt crashed yet. So that's 2 crashes per day less than firefox 2 so far, it did however eat my resources and I had to force kill it when I tried to play some music through the browser. I also can't seem to get the java plugin to work just yet.

On a sideways note, it changed the font of pretty much all the text on every site I visit. I feel like everything was made on an old fashioned typewriter now.

Well, I believe... Firefox now remembers where it was when I closed it and opens back up on the correct monitor. Jackpot.

Crashed the first time I tried going to the site it crashed at with Beta 3...but after submitting a report (not sure if that did it or not), went back the next day, and it works again.

Only two things I'm not a huge fan of yet is that in the drop-down address bar, it doesn't keep things as they were typed in (used to have all the webcomics I read there, in order of updates and such), and if I hit "Save Link As" it takes way longer than it should to show the save window. Sometimes upwards of twenty seconds. Brutal, since it should show up immediately.

I haven't been having any of those problems. It's been running like a dream for me and all the stress tests I did on it (100+ tabs +RSS +In browser media etc.) showed barely any slowdown. it's fantastic.

and FF3 loads pages at least 3x as fast as the current IE patch. pretty sad really for microsoft to be blown away so easily -_- (I am not a MS fanboy =) )

YES! Finally, I can read the overly long alternate text in xkcd comics without having to view its properties! Praise Mozilla!

Also: it doesn't like it when Foxmarks tries to sync on the fly. It doesn't like it at all.
