I just got a Motorola Q9c on Friday, since I haven't had a cellphone in over five years. I went through the user's manual, and noticed two icons on my main screen that I see a lot aren't addressed.
One looks like a pair of crosshairs with some radio waves coming out. This icon is placed right beside the EV or 1X icon.
The other is where the signal bars are, and has an arrow going right on top of an arrow going left. At first I thought this was roaming, but it seems the roaming icon is a triangle (which I haven't seen, thankfully).
Any help is appreciated.

Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.
"Dissent is the highest form of Patriotism" - Howard Zinn
Is this still legit since Obama is President now? Is dissenting
from him patriotism, like dissenting from Bush was?

From the manual:
"If double arrows are displayed, your device is ready for and capable of making a data connection."
The crosshair thing shows whether the device can send location information (crosshair) or not (crosshair with slash through it.)
For the whole manual, see here. Not sure whether this is the same manual you have, but since you said you couldn't find the icons in there this may be a different one.
