Congratulations on the aging guys.

I suggest that this thread be used for all birthdays. It can just die out and be revived whenever someone particularly relevant has one. Thats what I orgionally thought it would be when I saw it. Just a thought.

DEMOS!!!!!!!!

You have forever converted me to djarum Blacks.
Every man wants to live. They theorize with staying alive always kept in mind. They think that "The man who lives on when he has failed in his intention is a coward" is a heartless definition. That to die having failed is to die uselessly is a mad point of view. This is not a shameful thing. It is the most important thing to the Way. If you keep your spirit correct from morning to night, accustomed to the idea of death and resolved on death, and consider yourself as a dead body, thus becoming one with the Way, you can pass through life with no possibility of failure and perform your office properly. -Miyamoto

It's not so much that they're frowned upon... it's more the matter that someone was posting birthday threads for EVERYONE, whether they were regular posters or not... and that just gets a little ridiculous to be honest... with a forum this big that has a lot of people that don't even know A&E exists... Yeah.... We really don't need a thread for every person. That was the issue, and it was apparently never understood by subtle hints. wink2.gif

I've never had a problem with them for actual contributing members of the forum who've been here a while and are well known... call it a perk of actually being part of the community we've developed.

Happy Birthday Demo... You should stick around a little more, dear...

To all who are celebrating:
Happy anniversary of arriving into the world wet, cold, hungry and having a large man in white smack your ass!

Ah, the beauty that is the stage of growing up (and old)

Sometimes I wonder if getting older DOES mean more than just a license for an orgy of pleasures (ie. driving, smoking, drinking, consented sex, etc)
