I'm hooked on a new time-waster. Taken from their homepage:

QUOTE
Designed for the casual gamer, playing Conquer Club is not a time consuming process. You can take your turn in 5 minutes with your morning cup of coffee or in between classes. A game typically lasts several days, but hardcore risk takers can play multiple games at once and stay up all night strategizing their next move.

I give you: CONQUER CLUB!

There's nothing to download, and you can play up to four games at once as a regular player. If you want unlimited games and the ability to set up private games, fork over $20 for a year's worth of premium membership. They've also got a slew of different maps to choose from if you're bored with the classic map.

So who's up for some World Domination?? biggrin.gif
Players may blunder through dialog with shocking ineptitude, forget the name of the country they are in, or get confused about which side they are on, but once it comes time to roll for initiative they all turn into Sun Tzu. - Shamus

I can easily set up more games if we've got takers, and everyone's allowed to have four games running at the same time (premium members get unlimited games, so I can start up as many as y'all want).

Meh, risk sucks because of the dice stuff. Back at uni we had a version without dice which was a lot better. There was still a andom element when getting armies (because of what cards you get) but it was a lot more strategic and less luck.

The first LICD game is full. Another shall be started soon, I'm sure. If you don't know how to play Risk, I'm pretty sure I saw a rules section on the website.

Yeah, I'm in too. Risk is probably my all-time favourite board game. But hell, Risk with a Discworld map? You'd have to be crazy to say no!
