Alright, I found a new chocolate chip recipe last night, and I fell in love. Think you've got the perfect version? Post yours, and I promise that I at least will experiment. And maybe one of us will find a new favorite.

Here's what I was using previously:
Original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies
(From the back of a chocolate chip bag)

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 F
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes.

Here's my new favorite:

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
(from How to Cook Everything, by Mark Bittman)

2 sticks butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 375 F
2. Using an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugars; add the eggs one at a time and beat until well blended.
3. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and add them to the batter by hand, stirring to blend. Stir in the vanilla and then the chocolate chips.
4. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets and bake until lightly browned about 10 minutes.

After getting poked in IRC... Geez... *giggle* *snort*

1/2 c butter, softened
6 tbsp brown sugar
6 tbsp white sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp water
1 egg

Combine above ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.

1 1/2 c flour (all purpose)
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp cinnamon

Combine above ingredients in a small bowl. Add to soft ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Add 1 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (I always use the mini chips). Drop onto cookie sheet by tablespoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until light brown.

Mmmmmmm.... Damn, I don't think I have any chocolate chips! dry.gif

Here is a recipe I saw on a package of Hershey Cordial Creme Kisses. You can try it and see how it tastes.

60 Hershey's kisses Milk Chocolate filled with Cherry Cordial Creme Kisses
1 pkg. original supreme brownie mix with syrup pouch
1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa powder
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
powdered sugar

Just bake like ordinary cookies, but first you have to freeze the kisses before baking. Press them immediately at the middle of the baked cookies once done, let cool and enjoy. Personalized Fortune Cookies
