Okay, so most of this know that to keep this place running smoothly we need to have a few guidlines. The following are the Mod agreed upon rules for this forum as well as all the others. Please read them if you haven't done so before.

Also, following the general rules I've got a few guidlines specific to the movie forum, so please check those out too.

1) No bigoted remarks will be tolerated, be they racial, religious, or otherwise.

2) No nudity, be it in a linked picture, posted picture, linked website, or avatar.

3) No images in signatures.

4) No flaming or harrasment.

5) No SPAM. SPAM will be edited or deleted and promptly locked.

We're just all trying to enjoy ourselves, folks. Please make it enjoyable for everyone to be here.

Alrighty, were gonna try to change a few things in regards to the games we've got going here. Unlike the above rules these aren't set in stone, if they're not working I'll edit them accordingly. Any and all comments/feedback/questions should be PM'd to me.

Ultimately I think these games work best if they are kept going at a fairly brisk pace, so these guidelines are designed with that goal in mind.

1. Time limit for reponses is 3 days. If nobody has gotten the answer it's at very least time for a clue. If the forumite who has posted the correct answer neglects to post a new question, or if the an answer is not confirmed within this time, that round is void and the spot is up for grabs.

2. Weekends do not count towards that 3 day limit. We're all out enjoying ourselves, so we won't hold it against you for not being around.

3. As far as games with screenshots go let's respect the fact that not all of us have the fastest connections. Pics should be of a moderate size. Use common sense. (Everyone has been great about this thus far).

4. Also, pics should be discernible. If you need to explain what is going on in a pic you should just save the time and get a new one.

5. Part of these games is posting a new question once your correct guess has been confirmed. While missing this occasionally is understandable, please refrain from guessing if you, for whatever reason, repeatedly fail to post a new question.

6. If you post a question and you're going to be away from your com for a while and need someone to moderate the guesses to your questions that's me. I'm perfectly happy to do this, however, I'd like to play the games too, so if you're capable of monitoring responses to your questions then no need to send me the answer.

Thanks guys, as always you're great!

Also a few general rules about discussions:

6. Please note, once movies have been released consider all topics discussing those movies to be open for spoilers. If you wish to post spoilers - even if it's only rumors - in topics about films that have yet to be released please give sufficent warning and preferably write them in white text so they are hidden to all who do not wish to see them (if you do not know how, PM me and I'll explain hwo to do so).

7. When discussing films let's do our best not to commit the Straw Man Fallacy, i.e. criticise a film all you want, but DO NOT criticise or otherwise flame someone for showing support or admiration for a film.

Hopefully that should keep things rolling. You guys are generally great, so let's keep it that way.

Cheers,
Gi@nT
