QUOTE (Loss_Theif @ Jul 3 2009, 11:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I've heard of dropping a bombshell, but Mick just dropped a nuke the size of North Korea.

And Rayne's celebrating it and having the sausages ready to burn them on the burning ruins. He simply lost some points of simpathy from me... sothere.gif

No wonder Mick has self-confidence problems. And Rayne is not helping at all.

BTW Mick's GF looks like she needs an underwear change after Rayne's reaction.

Tammy's response should be "Chips?" which causes Mick to go into a chip eating spree that puts him in a hospital with a near fatal heart attack, then an addiction program after he's released........

I see why Rayen acts that way.

Can´t you see that mick feels guilty for what his mother (and the gardener) did? But thats wrong, he has nothing to do with it!
HE didn´t kill anyone, nor he made his mother went gay (my gramma sucks, soory ^^ ) in prison.
I think Rayen tries to show that.

Actually... I think Rayne's mockery helps. It's keeping the whole deal surreal and making it impossible for Mick to focus on the tragedy of what happened. Sure, he's being a jerk about it, but that's just it- he's being a jerk. The focus is on Rayne instead of Mick, so anything Mick says is sure to get understanding sympathy instead of "you're messing with me!" I mean, the whole story sounds made up, but with Rayne making fun of it for sounding so crazy...

As always, well done Rylar. I really like that Rayne's hand is out of the comic barrier in panel 4. I think that's the first time you've done that Lar, that i recall, excellent.

I have no problem with Raynes reaction, he is who he is. This is great.

Side note- Its been almost a year since we've seen Ashley. Please bring her in soon.

Jeez, Rayne you are such a bad person. Guess that makes me an even worse person for laughing at Mick's misery, but it's just so darn funny. I don't see how Mick's life can get anymore effed up, but after saying that I'm sure it will. Sorry Mick. sad.gif

I thought I would never be surprised by Rayne but wtf is wrong with him?

Right, who here doesn't think Mick has been in some pretty dark places with this?
He must have been.
Now couple that with the fact that it's always Rayne he looks to for advice.
Rayne has probably dealt with the fallout of all this at various points.
From personal experience it's not unusual after a friend helps you with something like this for them to treat it lightly and therefore rob it of some of it's gravity.

Just my thoughts............

I love that the color of the "BAM!" is the same as Richard's speech from LFG ... makes Rayne look even more ass-ish biggrin.gif

No, no, see, Richard was the one who organized the entire thing.

...All right, probably not, but I wonder what his reaction would be to this...

Oh DEAR, poor Mick!

If this conversation actually took place IRL, Rayne would've been SO distracting tongue.gif

Raynes reaction is just what you would expect from him. He's clearly dealt with this in a serious way before, and he was asked to come, clearly absurdity is what he wants in this situation. The only odd thing about it is the lesbian thing, after your mother murders your father with the gardener and goes to jail for 8 years becoming a lesbian is about as serious in the mind of a child as her not knowing how to make tiramasu!
